A Russian SU-34 fighter jet crashed into a residential building in the city of Yeysk on Monday, Russian state media TASS reported. It is unclear how many people were on the fighter.
According to testimony TASS received from an eyewitness, firefighters and ambulances have arrived at the scene. “A plane has crashed in our city, in Yeysk. In the area of a residential building. Ambulances and firefighters are coming from the whole city, there are helicopters in the air,” said the eyewitness quoted by TASS.
State media reported that another city resident specified that this residential building has nine floors. According to eyewitnesses, the entire house is on fire.
